This past Saturday, I spent the evening at At'l Do Farms with my 14-year-old, though he quickly ran off to join his buddies. They wasted no time exploring the maze, only to discover that no running is a strict rule. They made it halfway before being asked to leave—but they had a blast nonetheless!
The farm was buzzing with families, and you could feel the lively weekend energy in the air. A word of advice: expect lots of dirt and dust, but it's all part of the experience! One of the first things you'll notice when you arrive is the mouthwatering smell of kettle corn, which creates long lines at the silo, but trust me.
It’s worth the wait.
As the sun began to set, the farm took on a whole new charm—West Texas sunsets never disappoint, and seeing it against the backdrop of the farm was truly stunning. There’s something for everyone to enjoy at At'l Do Farms, from picking pumpkins to getting lost in the maze. But the highlight for me? Exploring the sunflowers. For just $7, you can cut your own fresh bouquet. Walking through rows of bright, cheerful flowers was an experience I highly recommend!
An evening at the farm is one for the books. Whether you’re new to Lubbock or just looking for a fun weekend activity, make sure to check out At'l Do Farms. It's only a short drive away, and there's so much to see and do. My tip?
Try visiting during the week when it’s less crowded.
Check out their website for more info and plan your perfect day at the farm!
